CONFLICT RESOLUTION AND NEGOTIATION

Conflict resolution is a way for two or more parties to find the most effective outcome to a disagreement among them. When a dispute arises, often the best course of action is negotiation to resolve the disagreement. 

The goals of the course on conflict resolution and negotiation are;

  • To work collaboratively to find a solution.
  • To improve the relationsips with the groups in conflict. 


CUSTOMER SERVICE STRATEGIES

Excellent customer service benefits any business across all industries. When a customer has a satisfying interaction with a company representative, it dramatically improves the likelihood that the company will enjoy repeat business. This course offers strategies to improve customer facing skills and create successful business collaborations.

STRATEGIC PLANNING

The objective of this course is to review the division's mission and vision statements, and to provide focus for team members on how to best serve their constituency. Effective team collaboration and cohesive member interation are key elements to achieve organizational objectives. During this training, we will review team members' perceptions of their own job functions, as well as their expectations for measurable outcomes for this division.

FOUNDATIONS OF PROJECT MANAGEMENT FOR NON-PROFITS

This course focuses on the key elements for successful project management. It identifies the main components that must be effectively managed by a project manager;  

Project scope, schedule, and cost.

This course reviews the contraints and risks that may jeopardize the success of any given project. This course also provides an understanding of the project management framework that embodies the various stages of the project life cycle.

During this course, different approaches and project management methodologies are reviewed, specifically designed for nonprofits.

Profit Analysis can take many forms, some being part of the strategic plan. However, a major factor in confirming profitability is how businesses calculate their selling pricing.  We focus on the companies present method of estimating to confirm accurate  profitability.

BOOKKEEPING / ACCOUNTING

Bookkeeping is the process of keeping track of all business transactions, including the sums, dates, and sources of all revenue gains, expenses, and losses. Bookkeeping is the foundational step in the accounting process.  Having accurate financial records enables managers and business owners to respond to crucial questions. 

PROCESS MANAGEMENT

 We work directly with owners to review existing processes, to determine if there could be improvements made to those operational processes. Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), within Operational and Administrative management, are essential in facilitating consistency, by lowering down-time and increasing profitability.

CHANGE MANAGEMENT

Change Management is a process of requesting, determining attainability, planning for, implementing, and evaluating changes to operational processes. A defined Management of Change process is essential for the proper documentation, approval, control, and effective implementation of those changes.

REPORTING SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT

Every business struggles with trying to understand why they make the same mistakes...over and over again. In many cases they are the result of a missed step within the companies Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's). We encourage the incorporation of Key Performance Indicators (KPI), reporting systems so a company can measure financial performance, operational output, and Return on Investment (ROI).

Organizational Development is a planned, organization-wide effort to increase a company's effectiveness and viability. It's a focused approach on changing attitudes, values, and culture for the betterment of the organization.
